Being awarded the Dr. John del Regato Hall of Fame Medal represents one of the highest honors bestowed within the Mathematics Pentathlon® Program. This prestigious recognition celebrates a student’s exceptional commitment, perseverance, and strategic problem-solving skills at a National Mathematics Pentathlon Academic Tournament.
Recipients of this award also demonstrated the core values at the heart of Math Pentathlon®—sportsmanship, integrity, creativity, and collaboration.
How Does a Pentathlete Make the Hall of Fame?
Pentathletes who win ALL 5 of their Division-level Math Pentathlon® Games enter what we refer to as the Hall of Fame. Since 1979, this high level of achievement has been recognized on our website by the year and grade that the Hall of Fame Status was earned.
- Current Hall of Fame – 2026 is the list acknowledging this year’s Pentathletes who achieved a perfect score of 15 points at a National Tournament.
- Hall of Fame History (the following files may take a while to download due to their large size) (1979 – 1999), (2000 – 2017), (2018-2026) lists all the Pentathletes who achieved a perfect score of 15 points during the National Tournaments since 1979.
